Ride a camel out in the desert to have an amazing view for the pyramids from a distance. Then, stand in front of the imposing Sphinx, the combination of human intelligence and the strength of a lion. Start your day by visiting Saqqara, the necropolis of Memphis, home of the step pyramid, the first limestone structure ever built. Explore its 4350 years old colored tombs. Get the chance to go inside a pyramid and see the ancient Hieroglyphics that have been engraved on its walls for thousands of years. Your tour will include an off-beaten-track visit to the tomb of Mihu and the tomb of the butchers.

Then after lunch, visit Ibn Tulun Mosque. The oldest existing mosque in Cairo with an amazing unique design and yet still surviving in its original form. You can even climb up the minaret which provides a panoramic view of the whole old part of the city.

After breakfast, Check- out and drive to the airport to fly  to Abu Simbel temple on the southern border of Egypt. This site is the home of two massive rock temples dedicated to Pharaoh Ramses the second and his wife Nefertari. See the gigantic statues of the pharaoh standing for over 3200 years, flanking the entrance to one of the most impressive temples in Egypt. Afterwards, fly to Aswan. Check-in your hotel then end up your day on a legendary felucca sailboat ride down the Nile enjoying a sparkling wine during sunset. (B)

After breakfast, Check-out and enjoy a relaxing visit to the temple of Isis, located on the island of Philae. The temple is dedicated to the goddess of love and passion in ancient Egypt, The unfinished obelisk is the largest known ancient obelisk and is located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt in Aswan, Then check-in your cruise and have lunch on-board. As you are having breakfast, sail down the Nile and visit the temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile and the falcon gods. After breakfast, drive to Qena on the way to the Red Sea. The drive is a journey on its own, for you will drive among local villages enjoying daily life scenery.

In Qena you will admire the stunning colors of the Temple of Dendera, The temple is dedicated to Hathor the goddess of joy, laughter and music.

Lunch boxes will be provided for the drive. Upon arrival to the Red Sea, time to Check-in and Relax at your resort. (B,L)

Today is a time to Relax and enjoy your resort. Or you may like to have a snorkeling day trip to enjoy the Corals of the Red sea. (B)

After breakfast, have a relaxing morning. Check-out and get ready to travel back to Cairo for one more night at Le Meridien Cairo Airport before you will travel back home. (B)
